FREQUENTLY
ASKED QUESTIONS
What is the effect of your products on the environment?
All our low-impact products are New Jersey DEP-approved and EPA-registered. They are applied by a licensed technician at the appropriate rates, at the appropriate times, for the best results.
Are your programs guaranteed?
Applications are timed to provide regular visits to your property. We guarantee our programs by providing free, unlimited service calls.
Why do I need multiple applications?
Seasonal control requires regularly scheduled “seasonal applications.” This ensures that we are constantly spraying to prevent regrowth of weeds, reeds, and poison ivy as well as minimize the activity of pests such as mosquitos, ticks, and household ants.
Do you treat grass and beds or just rock areas on properties?
The applications are designed for the rock and hardscape areas (driveways, pavers, etc.).
They are not intended for grass or beds with flowers and plants as they can inhibit their growth. How often can we expect you on our property?
The goal for all our programs is discretion. That said, our expectation is to be on your property monthly. Our technician becomes familiar with your property including any “problem areas” that may need additional attention or a return visit.
I do not live at the property, how will I know that you’ve been there?
Each visit will be acknowledged with a custom Rock Doctor pesticide flag left on your property, as directed by the New Jersey DEP and a follow up email with service notes will be sent within 24 hours of completion of the service.
Do you use organic products?
We do not currently use organic vegetation or weed control products. Of the organic products on the market, there are none that are currently very effective or cost efficient. We do however, use organic pest control products.
